The Last Recording of Orion View

  Thirty-seven years ago, the town of Orion View went silent. Upon investigation, it was found abandoned. Government officials searched the town for any insight into what might have happened. A tape was found in the radio station’s basement. What appears next is the written transcript of what was found on the tape.  Good morning and welcome back to Orion’s Horizon, the broadcast you can count on to give you the best and most up to date info! Twisted Traditions

  Living with Gran had been a fun experience. Ever since my parents started traveling when I was a child, I had lived with her. She was the parent figure I looked up to. Every year, I learned something new. She taught me traditions from various cultures. I happily went along, following behind Gran.  Each lesson was something new, but it never felt as if I was learning the right things. I always wanted to learn the traditions from my family's culture, yet Gran never talked about them. I thought I could find information in her journals. She wrote about each cultural celebration, how to celebrate them, and the history for each one.  I never found our own family’s traditions. I used to ask why we never celebrated them, but she always brushed it off, saying something along the lines of, "There's other cultures to learn from. Ours are ingrained in us.
